There is no error message.
It’s a DLC that includes an expanded area of the race map plus additional car packs. To get the DLC onto my Xbox, I need to go from the Home Menu and then go to the My Games and Apps tab.
In the store, I can buy the app, but when I try to download the game, it tells my, that I need to update my windows 10 first to the newest version. There ist no error message, but further down are the system requirement for the game, there it is written 'Windows 10 Version 1607 Build 14393.102'.
On the internet there are only few posts about that problem. Anyway, these people where able to update their computer to some kind of 'anniversery edition' or anything similar, that updated to the correct build.
My problem is: wathever I try, I cannot get higher than Windows 10 Pro Edu 1607 Build 14393.0.
And:
- there is no specific error message, just the message 'update your computer, bofore downloading etc...' and the button 'download' stays inactive
- I do not have a hardcopy
- as I mentioned: I was not able to download the software
- I did not make any 'changes'. the computer is brand new (OMEN by HP Gaming Desktop PC 870-090nz i7, 32GB)
- I was able to install GTA, no problem, also steam is running without a problem, Visual studio, unity, blender, hololens dev kit, office, libreoffice, VPN solutions, network.... etcetc.
I have an xbox 360 which I did not buy with a hard drive. I played Skyrim, and then when I wanted the DLCs, I had bought a 32GB USB to use. My problem is that I just bought Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition and whenever I put the second disc in and try to install the extra gameplay, my xbox 360 reads 'You must have a hard drive to install this expansion pack. Attach an Xbox 360 Hard Drive and try again.'
If the Skyrim expansion packs downloaded onto the USB, how come the Fallout 3 ones won't?

Some games require that an actual Xbox hard drive is plugged in to work.
It's just the way it is programmed.

You would have the same problem with BlackOps or Halo.

If you have bought a Xbox 360 Slim (the black one w/ Kinect and a 4 GB HARDDRIVE!!!)
You can NEVER actually download DLC to the Xbox 360's built in hard drive (but if the game has been recently released you can download to a storage device)
Example: the 7 Gb install for GTA 5 can be downloaded to a USB
Sadly, since Fallout GOTY is a older game (and it was not programed for the Slim) you can never play those DLC's. You can try to edit the Xbox so it says you have a hard drive, but I DON'T recommend it because it is hard and voids your warranty. I found a webpage that explains some things.

I think if you take a USB to a friend who has a hard drive, get them to install the DLC, then move the DLC from there hard drive to the USB, then take it back home and put it in your xbox. When you load up the game select the USB that has the DLC on it and when you select it the game should say loading extra content or something like that. You might want to put a save on the USB as well so you don't have to start all over again. I HOPE this works!

its not possible beacause fallout 3 is an old game and can only install by using a xbox 360 hard drive but the new games is possible to download it by using a USB for a limited of time
