Oct 23, 2018 - Here is a cool feature from Apple; the split screen! Now, open the system preferences App by clicking on the icon on the dock. Going into “full-screen” mode on my apps causes my second display to go black. It just started doing this today after I did a restart. I am using a new 27-inch iMac running El Capitan.

DISCOUNT SALE From 5.99$ - 3.99$ For limited time!!!! Screen Lights is created for those people who spend a lot of time working at night.
Limit your exposure to energy-efficient lighting before bed. In addition to the LED screens in your electronics, energy-efficient lighting emits a lot of blue light. Exposure to blue light before you go to bed significantly affects your sleep quality, because it prevents your body from releasing melatonin, a chemical in your body that helps you sleep.
Screen Lights will change the color of your screen, which will reduce the amount of blue light your screen emits, helping you sleep better, reduce eye strain and helps you focus on the most important things on the screen. Whether you're in a low-light environment or reading long documents, changing black text on a white background to white text on a black background can make a difference in your comfort level, provides better screen visibility in sunlight, without having to increase the screen brightness. It`s easier on the eyes for some people with a sensitivity to brightness, easier to distinguish for some people with color blindness, and easier to make out for some people with low vision. Show ruler to help you stay focused on the text you are reading.Just set the desired time and the application will automatically start for you, so you will not forget to start every time before you go to sleep. For those who use Screen Lights please leave us a feedback. ◆◆◆ Bug Fix & Feature Request ◆◆◆ If you have any problem, please email us at [email protected] / [email protected].

KGoreham, Good, But Not Great On Multi-Monitor Setups This app works perfectly on my main iMac screen, but for the Dell monitor that I use as a second screen, it always reverts to the default (uncalibrated) color profile when it deactivates.
I then have to re-select the proper calibration profile manually. It always reverts back to the proper calibrated profile on the main display, so I’m sure it’s just an oversight that would be quick to fix. So one star off of an otherwise good app.
Fix the multi-monitor calibration profile issue, and it would be five stars. If you don’t have a second monitor, or don’t care about color calibration, then it’s all good. Inbox.marilyn, a lot of money for a little app It’s okay, but for the price I’m not at all wowed. It is simple enough and does what is needed. But, you have to set each color, and if you change to a different color (you can’t mix them, either), you lose whatever scale of color and dimmer you previousy set.
The only color that worked for me was yellow, and I had to allow for some blue in order to properly see anything, so in effect, I only got an 80% reduction, which is good, but it isn’t 100% which would be optimal. I’m not sure that the “ruler” has any real effect either, other than to go across the screen, but???
I would not have minded paying.99 or up to 2.99 for this app, but I feel a bit taken aback at the 7.99 sticker price. I won’t be shopping from these developers again.
